These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Word Voyage mobile application (the “App”), published by KAKEL ENTERPRISES LLC (“KAKEL,” “we,” “us”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own non-commercial language learning, subject to these Terms and the Google Play Terms of Service.
Do not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the App or its content except as permitted by law; do not use the App to break the law, infringe others’ rights, or disrupt the service; and do not attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours or manipulate leaderboards.
Some features require signing in with Google or Apple. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You may delete your account at any time (see our Privacy Policy).
The App is supported by advertising and may, now or in the future, offer optional paid features or subscriptions. Any purchases are processed by Google Play and are subject to Google’s payment terms and refund policies. Prices and availability of paid features may change.
The App, including its design, text, vocabulary content, audio, graphics, and the KAKEL and Word Voyage marks, is owned by KAKEL ENTERPRISES LLC and protected by intellectual-property laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Word Voyage is a learning aid provided for general educational purposes. We do not guarantee any particular language-proficiency outcome, and translations/definitions may contain errors.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KAKEL ENTERPRISES LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or goodwill, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months or USD $10.
We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms or to protect the service. You may stop using the App and delete it at any time.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which KAKEL ENTERPRISES LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located there, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
We may update these Terms; we will revise the “last updated” date and, for material changes, provide notice in the App. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
