Money Quest (the “App”) is a financial-literacy game published by KAKEL ENTERPRISES LLC (“KAKEL,” “we,” “us”). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. You can play the core of the App without an account; some features (cross-device sync, leaderboard) require signing in. The game uses virtual currency only — there is no real money, gambling, or in-app purchase.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information — if you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, profile photo, and a user ID. Sign-in is optional.
  • Game data — your mission progress, XP, stars, streaks, settings, and preferences, so we can sync them across your devices and show leaderboards.
  • Advertising identifier — to show ads, Google AdMob may access your device advertising ID and limited ad-interaction data.
  • Device & log data — standard technical data (device model, OS version, app version, diagnostic signals) used to operate and improve the App.

Money Quest does not collect microphone audio, location, contacts, or any financial/payment information. We do not use a third-party analytics SDK, and we do not sell your personal information.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and sync your game progress and leaderboards; send the practice reminders you opt into (scheduled locally on your device); show advertising that keeps the App free; and maintain security, prevent abuse, and fix problems.

The free App shows ads via Google AdMob (native and interstitial formats), which may use your advertising ID to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted. You can reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads).

Money Quest is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We keep account and game data while your account is active. You can delete your data at any time: in the App via Profile → Settings → Account, or by emailing us — we will delete your account data, typically within 30 days. See our account deletion page.

7. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on Google Cloud/Firebase infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (e.g., the EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us below.

We may update this policy; we will revise the “last updated” date and, for material changes, provide notice in the App.
